My Story
For as long as I can remember I have loved to host, so much so, I think it’s in my blood. Being brought up in a Italian household, events were such a big thing! There was always a reason to celebrate, any excuse to have people over for food and drinks, I suppose. We did not do things by halves, everything had to be meticulous, every detail planned out, everyone was thought of - naturally this has been ingrained in me. I think this is where my passion for events started and where my talent for being organised came from too!

so why weddings?
my turning point
So my love for weddings came from a young age, watching all the wedding programs ,“For Better For Worse", "Don’t Tell the Bride". I collected wedding magazines like they were going out of fashion. Reading the articles from cover to cover, I found it fed me more than food - as Carrie Bradshaw would say. I married my childhood sweetheart, and in planning my wedding, I found so much happiness in the creativity, and of course the organising. It was an incredible experience, but even with all the joy, I wish I worked with a wedding planner to ensure the coordination of the day ran smoothly. It was then I knew I wanted my own event planning business.
Bringing you on this journey to current day. Along the way, I took on jobs that tapped into my planning and scoping skills, one of which was as a recruitment consultant. Surprisingly, I found it so similar to event planning. Both require making sure everyone's needs are met, all while staying organised, communicating clearly, and keeping things running smoothly. But I still felt this passion for planning events.

So I followed that feeling, working in public sector planning and coordinating corporate events & training events for most of my career. Though my heart still longed to be involved with weddings. Then came working with a local faux floral design company. I gained experience in venue styling and floral design - it fed my love for weddings, and that passion led me to start my own wedding & event planning business. Working on the intricate details of each event, from the florals to the overall design, solidified my love for weddings and creating unforgettable experiences for couples.
